Oh Canada

Pat and his friend, internationally renowned blog consultant Jack Shepherd, made this video as a bitter critique on increasingly tense international relations in a post homeland security age.

Actually, I just made that up.

Pat talks about his installation "Untitled (For Duc Q Dinh)

Click on this link to see Pat talk about his grass and video installation, "Untitled (for Duc Q Dinh." He installed this piece at the 2007 Artomatic in Crystal City, VA. Artomatic is a month-long multimedia arts event that transforms an unfinished indoor space into an arts event that is free and open to the public.

Wash Post Art Critic Michael O'Sullivan gave Pat an "Honorable mention:Best Use of Live Grass" for the piece.
O'Sullivan said, "The prize goes to Patrick Resing's "Untitled (For Duc Q Dinh)," incorporating grow lights and time-lapse video in a tongue-in-cheek homage to the former occupant of the office whose nameplate is still on the wall.

Brother of Mine, oh, Brother of Mine

My brother is the awesome videographer, installation artist, writer and killer soccer ref Pat B. Resing. My kids and I noticed that there is no one place on the web where you can find all of the video shorts, blogs, articles and marginalia about him and his work. So here it is. Hope my other brothers don't get jealous.
